Gary has a Master’s of Science from The University of Tennessee. He has over three decades of experience in various roles in which he demonstrated his commitment to serving children and families, as well as enhancing their overall well-being.
Gary served as a Group Leader and Training Manager in residential treatment settings. He has also served in the roles of Executive Director with the Boys and Girls Clubs, Regional Director for The Little Gym, a child development franchise, a Case Manager in Child Protective Services for the Department of Children’s Services, and, most recently, as a Team Leader with Omni Family of Services in Knoxville.
Beyond his professional responsibilities, Gary is actively involved in community initiatives aimed at addressing youth-related issues. He has served as a past member of the Knox County Truancy Review Board, a member of the Knoxville Police Department’s Gang Offender Comprehensive Action Program committee, and the Knox County Juvenile Court Assistance Board.
Gary has a passion for community service and extensive experience in child development and leadership and is dedicated to advocating for the welfare of children and families.
