Launched in 2023 as part of the Omni Family of Services, Omni Family Institute delivers evidence-based models and training with a focus on child welfare and behavioral health.
Our goal is to transform the landscape of evidence-based care for those impacted by the child-welfare system. We do this through hope, empowerment, and trauma-informed tools to promote growth and forward-movement, until everyone thrives.
What We Do
OFI is anchored by Together Facing the Challenge (TFTC), an evidence-based, trauma-informed training and coaching model developed to provide core skills and ongoing support to child-welfare agency staff as they work with caregivers. Through TFTC and its companion programs, we provide training and support to organizations at more than 130 locations over 30 states, impacting thousands of children and families.
Who We Are
The OFI team is made up of professionals with decades of experience in both behavioral science and education, with specialties ranging from trauma treatment and mental health to human development. Every member of our team has worked closely with families in the foster care system and came to OFI committed to supporting agency staff and caregivers, and determined to help meet the needs of youth in care.
